Understanding the Image Annotations

Each comet detected in the image is automatically annotated with two numerical labels:

  • Cell ID (white/yellow number): A unique identifier assigned to each detected comet. This number corresponds directly to the matching entry in the exported CSV file, allowing users to easily locate and cross-reference individual cells and their measurements.
  • Damage Level (orange number): A score indicating the degree of DNA damage detected in each comet. This value is automatically assigned based on the morphological characteristics of the comet, providing a quick visual assessment of the damage level across the analyzed cells.
